Engineering entrepreneur, doctor debut health operations app
Misty Marot and Dr. Summerpal Kahlon recently rolled out worx360, a health care, labor-as-a-service technology platform that optimizes clinical staffing for health care facilities at scale.
They said worx360 ― an app on Apple ― adds automation, standardization and efficiency to expensive, highly manual, traditional staffing agency human resources processes.
Currently, worx360 is free to download.
Marot and Kahlon are looking to get as many clinicians and medical facilities as possible to sign up for beta testing.
Marot, chief executive officer of worx360, a product of Medworx, designed and built the worx360, with Kahlon.
The two-sided matchmaking platform was crafted drawing on Kahlon’s health care information technology expertise, as well as Marot’s extensive experience in staff augmentation, human resources and behavior science.
Marot has more than a decade of experience in recruiting and staffing, and currently owns and operates Novel Engineering, Medical Resource Solutions and Construction Resource Solutions.
Among her numerous honors and recognition for business and leadership are GrowFL – Florida Companies to Watch; NASA Cube Quest Challenge GT1; Business Leader of the Year Honoree – Space Coast Business Magazine; Entrepreneur of the Year – Women Who Rock Awards – WeVenture and Florida Institute of Technology; Innovation Company of the Year – Space Coast Economic Development Commission; and Technology Executive of the Year – Bill Posey Certificate of Congressional Recognition.

Marot is an alum of Florida Tech, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in business administration. She serves on Florida Tech College of Science and Engineering Advisory Board, U.S. Rep. Bill Posey’s Small Business Advisory Board, Florida Tech Board of Fellows, the United Way Space Coast board and the Eau Gallie Rotary Club.
Kahlon said he co-envisioned the worx360 app, based on his own experiences both as a health care business leader and practicing physician.
Kahlon’s background and experience includes developing innovative health technologies with Fortune 100 companies, such as McKesson and Oracle.
Locally, he previously led and developed the Steward Health Care physician network in Brevard and Indian River counties.
Kahlon has served on numerous nonprofit and advisory boards around the country. He said he particularly enjoys being involved in the local community on boards with the Children’s Hunger Project, Florida Tech and the University of Central Florida.

Bridenstine joins All Points advisory board
Merritt Island-based All Points recently named former NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine to its Board of Advisors.
All Points is a diversified technical services company serving the space and defense industry.
In his role on the All Points advisory board, Bridenstine will assist the leadership team in developing its business growth strategy and customer relationships, while helping to launch the company’s new launch support service, Space Prep.
Bridenstine served as NASA administrator from 2018 to 2020, launching the agency’s Artemis human lunar exploration program to land American astronauts on the moon by 2024. He also led efforts to launch American astronauts once again on American rockets; establish the Commercial Lunar Payload Services Program to land rovers on the lunar surface; and continue commercial resupply of the International Space Station.
Prior to his tenure at NASA, Bridenstine represented Oklahoma’s 1st Congressional District in the U.S. Congress.
More recently, he also served as senior adviser at Acorn Growth Companies, a middle-market private equity firm focused on aerospace, defense, intelligence and space investments.
